About WatchPost Advocacy
What We Do
WatchPost Advocacy publishes clear, accurate, primary-source legal information so that survivors can understand their rights before they sit down with an attorney — or before they miss a critical deadline because they didn’t know one existed.
We cover two areas:
Mesothelioma and asbestos disease — the legal framework governing claims against manufacturers and employers; the asbestos bankruptcy trust system; Missouri and Illinois statutes of limitations and what HB68 means for current claimants; union records and corporate documents that establish exposure.
Title IX and school sexual abuse — the federal legal standard for school district liability under Title IX; OCR complaint procedures and the 180-day deadline; Missouri and Illinois civil statutes of limitations; the documentary record that matters in these cases.
Who We Are
Rights Watch Media Group LLC is a Missouri media organization with over 20 years of subject-matter experience in asbestos litigation and institutional abuse accountability. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not represent clients.
We publish information drawn from primary sources — court decisions, statutes, regulatory records, agency databases — not from marketing materials or generic legal content.
Why Plain Language Matters
Survivors who understand their rights — who know what their diagnosis date means for the statute of limitations, who know what a trust fund claim is, who know that an OCR complaint and a civil lawsuit run on separate clocks — are better positioned to get the representation and outcomes they deserve.
